Wildcats Helping Others!
Our terrific Wildcats helped load up the truck with over 6,000 food items to benefit Samaritan House!
Changes to the Current School Calendar
Please be advised that the following school days have been added to the current school year in order to make up days missed this year due to snow and ice. School will be in session Saturday, March 15th, Monday 24th, and Tuesday, March 25th. These will be full school days (8:35 am-3:35 pm). The last day of school, as of now, will be June 6th.

Wildcats pull out all the stops for charity!
Coach Trumbo a pie in the face for Charity Cup on Friday! Student Tim Farmer got to throw it. WJHS collected a total of 6,554 food items and raised almost $3,000 to benefit Samaritan House. Go Cats!

These brave guys stepped up to cheer on their teams at today's faculty versus student basketball game! What a great way to have some fun and support our Charity Cup effort to help Samaritan House. Thanks boys!

Our Washington Faculty played the Wildcat Girls Basketball Team today! It was great fun and the proceeds helped us get a little closer to our Charity Cup goal! Go Cats!

WJHS Cheer Prep Clinic for Current 7th graders.
Attention anyone wanting to participate in the WJHS Cheer Prep Clinic. Clinic will begin Thursday 4-5 in the Coleman Rec. See Mrs. McDowell for information.
Teachers take a pie for the Charity Cup!
We have almost 20 teachers who are willing to take a pie in the face for the Charity Cup! You know you want to see this! At the dance on Friday night we will pitch the pie at one lucky teacher who raises the most votes with $1. To vote, buy a ticket where you buy dance tickets in the cafeteria each day this week during lunch time. Send your favorite teacher to the whip cream!!
Charity Cup Finale Dance at LJHS
This is the end! This is where we will find out who won the Charity Cup!! You don't want to miss this. Buy a ticket at lunch in the cafe each day this week including Friday. $2 per ticket to attend. Wrist bands will be given out. Transportation is provided or parents can take you. The dance is Friday, Feb. 21 from 4-6pm. Your parents will need to plan to pick you up at LJHS at 6:00pm.

Bentonville Public Library hosts Tim Robinson of Phat Tire Bike Shop for Leaders of Bentonville Series
All teens are invited to join the Bentonville Public Library as we host Tim Robinson, co-owner of Phat Tire Bike Shop, for the Leaders of Bentonville Series. The event will take place Thursday, February 20, 2014 at 4:30 PM in the Rotary Conference Room.
Teens will have the opportunity to learn what it takes to own a business and participate in a Q&A session.
The Leaders of Bentonville Series goal is for teens to be able to learn from local entrepreneurs about how they began working in their field of choice and to engage young adults in the Bentonville community.
Refreshments will be served. The program is for teenagers in 7th-12th grade. Registration is limited and is required. To register, please visit the calendar page on www.bentonvillelibrary.org.

These funds will be used to purchase food to fill Snack Packs. Snack Packs provide supplemental food to students over the weekends when there may not be enough to eat at home.

Book Donations Needed!
The WJHS Forensics Team is working with local Rotary Clubs to collect new and used books for the Books2Africa campaign. Started by by a former WJHS student, Books2Africa sends books to remote locations in Africa to help establish and build libraries.
